Est essentiellement inspiré de la nature qui m'entoure. Que ce soit au
point de vue du choix des matières, ou de l' ambiance. Étant installé au cœur de
l'Ardèche méridionale, mon style y prend sa source, pour une grande part.
Je tente de redonner aux maisons, un caractère coloré, chaleureux, campagnard, des Mas
d'autrefois.
Il m'arrive de marier ce style à une touche plus actuelle, moins rustique.Je m'inspire
également de décorations plus exotiques, tels que les enduits marocains, les camaïeux
indiens, pour leurs couleurs plus intenses, et leurs ambiances métissées.
Ce que je tente de reproduire dans les intérieurs que l'on me ,confie, est cette poésie
que je trouve et découvre partout. Au détour d'un sentier, dans un champ de lavande, à
l'envol d'un papillon.
Enfin, l'ambiance créée par la matière, une couleur, une harmonie peut transformer une
maison, et la manière dont on y vit, en la personnalisant, en la rendant plus proche de
votre univers intérieur. |
MY UNIVERSE
It is essentially inspired of nature which is my surrounding. Either for the choice of the
raw materials than the atmosphere.
Being implanted in the heart of Southern Ardéche (an hour drive North-East of Avignon),
where you can feel the beginning of Provence, and where I am sourcing the major part of my
inspiration.
I am tempting to give back a color full, and warm character.to the houses, more country,
like the pasted "old Mas" .
Sometimes I am also marrying this old style with a more actual one, less rought.
I am also having strong inspirations from other horizons, like the Maroko coating, or
the Indian's camaïeu, for their intensives colors and the exotic atmospheres.
What I am trying to reproduce in the interiors which are left to me, is the poetry that is
surrounding me, in a bend of a path, in a butterfly taking off from a lavender field.
The atmosphere created by a color, the texture of a material, gives an harmony, and can
transform a home and the way you live in it, in giving it more human warmhearted, and
making it closer of your deep personality. |
